PREREQUISITES: Students must have attended the ACEIT 101 training course. We strongly recommend that students have developed at least one estimate in ACE.
OBJECTIVE: The Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) ACEIT 201: Next Steps in ACE, CO$TAT, and POST will help you learn some of the more advanced capabilities of ACE, CO$TAT, and POST. Through a series of hands-on and instructor-led exercises, students will learn techniques for managing, analyzing, and exporting data with CO$TAT, develop an integrated ACE model, and use POST to create reports and present findings.

Day Two:
Implementing Techniques to Enhance Modeling Automation in ACE
- Module 8 – Adjusting Procurement Costs
- Module 9 – Including Monthly/Quarterly Time Increments
- Module 10 – Using ACE Functions to Automate Your Model
- Module 11 – Implementing Lookup Functions in ACE
- Module 12 – Working with Data Tables in your ACE Model
- Module 13 – Creating User Defined Functions
Day Three:
Using ACE as a Model Integrator
- Module 14 – Introduction to ACE Plug-ins
- Module 15 – Modeling Complex Estimate Architectures with the ACE-to-ACE Plug-in
- Module 16 – Using the Excel-to-ACE Plug-in to effectively import data from Excel to ACE
Summarizing Session Results
