Training Center
Tecolote Research Inc. has provided ACEIT training to the cost estimating
community for over fifteen years. Our Instructors have real world experience
using the tools to solve complex estimating problems. We offer a variety of
training courses to meet the diverse needs of the community.
Courses
We offer eight standard training courses. Our Core Training courses include
Basic ACEIT, ACEIT In Depth and Risk. We offer Function Specific training in
the areas of Database Development, Methodology Development, Using ACE Executive
and Model Reports and Excursions (using the POST tool). In addition we provide
an ACEIT review course for those who have taken our Basic ACEIT training course
and would like a review in the latest version of the software. Finally, we have
Mechanics Training to help you with the mechanics of your specific
problem.

Onsite Training
If you would like to schedule an on-site training class, please contact the
ACEIT Administrator at 281-333-0240 or
to obtain a quote. For on-site training, we can deliver any of our
standard open class material or can customize a course to fit your specific
needs.
Mechanics Training
Mechanics training is a specialized offering targeted to help customers solve
their specific ACEIT implementation issues.
Mechanics trainingis
offered in blocks of 40 hours at a cost of US$5,500 per block. These blocks can
be provided on-site or remote, if on-site additional charges will be included
to cover travel expenses. The hours for each block are available for 90
calendar days at which time the hours expire. Mechanics training is the most
effective way for users to get a quick start in using ACEIT.
