Tecolote Research, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be holding its 3rd Annual ACEIT User Conference 26-28 January 2009 in Santa Barbara, CA. 2009 ACEIT User Conference This is the premier annual gathering for ACEIT users and managers that review ACEIT models! Now in its 3rd year, the conference brings together active users, casual users, decision makers, academia, and ACEIT community members to share their expertise and insights. This year, Walt Cooper, OSD CAIG will give the keynote address that will focus critical cost estimating issues in the R&D, Procurement and O&S environments. On day two, our guest speaker Rich Bazzy will give an overview of how ACEIT has influenced cost modeling in the weapon systems research, development, and sustainment environment. There will be two full days of practical and thought-provoking presentations, as well as useful ACEIT “how-to demonstration”. The ACEIT Users Conference is renowned for its value, energy, innovation, and contribution to the cost estimating community.
The ACEIT Users Conference is attended by cost managers, cost analysts and cost engineering professionals from all levels and disciplines in the federal government cost analysis community. Attendees include cost professionals who need to stay on top of current information and developments regarding the latest ACEIT changes, time saving techniques, and how best to apply ACEIT. Presenters at the conference are experienced ACEIT users who offer leading-edge case studies, ACEIT innovations, practical techniques, session design tips, and application insights. This is also an opportunity to influence “what comes next for ACEIT”. The conference is attended by the government ACEIT Working Group members and is immediately followed by a meeting to decide on the future of ACEIT.
